Experienced Sales Director joins Anthropos Digital Care to lead push in domiciliary care markets
Ian Horman – new Sales Director
Anthropos is delighted to announce that Ian Horman has joined the company in the newly created role of Sales Director. Horman comes to Anthropos with over 20 years of experience working within software companies in the social care sector. He will report to CMO Paul Berney who said “Bringing onboard someone with so much experience in the markets that we serve is essential to support the next phase of growth for Anthropos. Ian has an excellent understanding of how social care companies work and a clear sense of the value that we can bring. Ian will be leading our efforts in domiciliary care and other markets”.
Horman joins at a challenging time for business and in particular for social care but he believes there has never been a better time to move into Technology Enabled Care. “I started to hear about Anthropos last year from clients, so I was already interested in the possibilities of connected care. The coronavirus pandemic has only raised interest levels among the public and our markets in the role that remote monitoring of older people in their homes can play. I firmly believe that our Connected Care Platform can play an important role in helping older people stay well and independent while at the same time providing their families with reassurance and peace of mind.”
Horman joins Anthropos from Pythagoras Communications where he was managing their bid process for large scale projects, having previously worked in a variety of business development roles at Advanced Health & Care and StaffPlan.
